FINAL RECOMMENDATIONS
1
Race Week Solutions: Implementing tangible changes during race week at MIS immediately impact the time period responsible for half of the track’s annual energy consumption. By collaborating with local transportation to outsource electric or hydrogen buses, implementing portable hybrid generators, and leveraging kinetic energy, the fan experience will remain at the heart of a sustainable race week.
Long-Term Solutions: Through establishing permanent sustainable operations and creating lasting partnerships, MIS will be able to invest in their longstanding infrastructure. With technologies like zero carbon permanent generators, EV charging infrastructure, and electric landscaping equipment on the track’s horizon, MIS will be able to streamline its long-term operations.
